Learn keyboard shortcuts on how to grab, rotate, and scale your 3D things in this Blender for 3D printing playlist. You can take my full 3D design course on my website. We will be taking the Suzanne Monkey and teaching you the basics of moving, rotating, & scaling objects inside of the NEW Blender 2.8 for 3D printing. This lesson is for beginners who are interested in using Blender for 3D print design. I will also be showing you my favorite keyboard shortcuts that make movement way easier in Blender. You'll learn how to lock the objects to certain X, Y, or Z-axis, how to reset the movements and how to do very small incremental movements with your keyboard. I'll give you some helpful tips for scaling with your keyboard + mouse that I wish someone would have told me when I was first starting out.
